Based on the order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus dated September 14, 2023, No. 1331 "On the introduction into permanent operation of the AIS 'Endoprosthetics'," from September 11, 2023, the automated information system for recording patients in need of endoprosthetics of large joints and recording metal structures and components of endoprostheses of large joints in the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as AIS 'Endoprosthetics') has been put into permanent operation.
ATTENTION TO PATIENTS! Registration for the commission is carried out in outpatient clinics at the place of residence through the automated information system 'ENDOPROSTHETICS'.
The commission for out-of-turn endoprosthetics meets twice a month.
- When applying to the endoprosthetics commission, it is necessary to have
- a referral to the endoprosthetics commission;
- a passport with Minsk registration;
- a consultative conclusion on the need for endoprosthetics issued by an orthopedic traumatologist.
- The responsibilities of the commission include
- consideration of received medical documents regarding primary and revision endoprosthetics of large joints;
- determining the presence of indications and contraindications for primary and revision endoprosthetics of large joints;
- consideration of the issue of performing endoprosthetics in this healthcare organization or referring the patient to another healthcare organization;
- determining the timing of endoprosthetics of large joints;
- consideration of controversial cases related to endoprosthetics of large joints;
- justification of refusal to perform endoprosthetics in the presence of contraindications.
