The Pulmonary Department is an independent division of the 6th City Clinical Hospital. It provides inpatient care (III-level care) to the patients with respiratory diseases. The department works 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
The core activities of the department
The specialists of the department treat such respiratory diseases as pneumonias, pleurisies, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, acute and chronic bronchitises, pulmonary heart disease, tracheal dystonia, pneumonites and sarcoidosis.
There are four bed wards, semi-private wards, private wards and the ward for the persons who became disabled as a result of participation in the Great Patriotic War in the department. We have the advanced equipment to perform all types of diagnosis and treatment (chest X-ray, chest CT, spirography, fiberoptic bronchoscopy, ultrasound examinations, esophagogastroduodenoscopy, magnetic resonance imaging, laboratory tests, consultations by medical specialists: endocrinologist, neurologist, ophthalmologist, ENT specialist, and gynecologist).
The specialists of Department of Internal Medicine No.3 and the Department of Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy of Belarusian State Medical University participate in follow-up of patients

INFORMATION FOR VISITORS
You may visit patients daily from 5.00PM to 7.00PM. Before visiting, please, take off your outer clothing and put on a gown. Make sure your shoes are clean. Only two visitors may visit one patient at once.
You need to get a permit from the Chief of the Department to visit bed patients. Visiting hours are from 8.00AM to 3.00PM.
