  • Prevention of injuries in the winter.

Prevention of injuries in the winter.

Winter is not only fluffy snow, funny children's games in the yard, winter sports. This is also a changeable weather: either snowfall, then a thaw, then a blizzard, then ice. And all this often contributes to ice injuries.

Attention and caution are the main means of preventing injuries, and not only winter. Going outside, you need to control literally every step. Endless streets and rolled ice tracks are better to avoid at all. Best for the winter is suitable for flat shoes. It is important that the sole is made of non -slip material (corrugated rubber or rubber with a deep tread), while the corrugation should go across the sole or according to the type of mesh. Pieces of adhesive plasters, glued to the sole in the sock and heel, will help reduce slipping.

The main rule is that shoes should be stable.

Especially attentive you need to be on the porch of shops, housing facilities, pharmacies and many other organizations, during the construction of which tiles were used.

It is advisable to avoid wearing bags on long handles, which hanging from the shoulder, move the center of gravity and pull down. Dangerous in terms of injuries and hoods, which narrow the review and prevent the street from timely evaluate the situation on the road.

As a rule, injury is the result of a fall. And more often - incorrect fall.

If you feel that the fall can no longer be avoided, try to sit down - this will decrease the height from which you will fall. In addition, at the time of the fall, you need to try to group - pull your head and press the elbows to the sides. If, slipping, you lose your balance, in no case do not fall on the straightened hands. It is necessary to fall on the side, because if a person falls on his back, then his spine and head are threatened to injure. And if you still fall on your back, press the chin to the chest, and spread your hands as wider as possible. This will insure you from a traumatic brain injury.

When falling from the slippery stairs, it is very important to protect your face and head: try to cover them with your hands. Do not try to slow down the fall by spreading your arms and legs - this will only increase the number of fractures.

Older people, due to the age characteristics of the skeleton, often get very serious injuries that can cause disability. At an advanced age, even a small blow can cause a fracture, especially for women. Therefore, no young people are not at all desirable to go out of the house without escort. And if it is still impossible to postpone a way out of the house, then you must definitely take a stick with a metal tip with you, which will reduce sliding.

A person is injured in seconds, and recovery occurs very slowly,

Therefore, be careful

careful

Take care of yourself!
