The clinical diagnostic laboratory (CDL) operates in the hospital as a department. The laboratory is centralized for many types of laboratory tests. Today, the laboratory is equipped with modern laboratory diagnostic equipment and performs a wide range of tests.

For patients of polyclinics referred by outpatient clinics according to the assigned area for laboratory testing for a coagulogram, blood group and Rh factor, there is a procedure room, which is located in the therapeutic building on the 3rd floor, in the lobby.

Reception hours for patients in the procedure room:

• Monday-Friday – from 8.00 to 14.30

Preparation for the test.

In accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization, it is recommended to take samples for research in the morning, after sleep, on an empty stomach.

Do not eat for 12 hours before the study; do not drink alcohol, do not smoke, limit physical activity and psychological stress.

The main groups of studies conducted in the clinical diagnostic laboratory:

• General clinical studies (general blood test, urine test, etc.),
• Biochemical studies (more than 55 indicators),
• Determination of blood coagulation system indicators (coagulogram, PTI, INR, D-dimers),
• Determination of INR of peripheral blood (finger prick blood) in express mode using a portable analyzer,
• Immunological studies:

1. Determination of blood group, Rh factor using monoclonal gel technologies
2. Diagnostics of TORCH infections (toxoplasmosis, rubella, cytomegalovirus, herpes)
3. hormones (thyroid gland, sex)
4. tumor markers
5. antiphospholipid syndrome
6. autoimmune diagnostics (diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) systemic vasculitis, etc.)

The analyzers used in the laboratory are combined with a unique information system  (AIS "Clinic" with the subsystem "Digital Laboratory"), which ensures reliable registration, storage, quick search of research results and eliminates any errors.

General clinical studies

• General urine analysis
• Counting the number of formed elements by the Nechiporenko method
• Determination of the concentration capacity of the kidneys by Zimnitsky
• Sputum examination for acid-fast bacteria (AFB)
• Examination of the pleural, synovial fluid
