Dmitry I. Mikhalkevich, 1973 YOB

  • 1997, graduated from Minsk State Medical Institute with the degree in General and Preventive Medicine;
  • 1997-1998, took the internship in Trauma and Orthopedics at Belarusian Research Institute for Trauma and Orthopedics;
  • September 1998 – June 2003, worked as a Junior Researcher at the Joint Pathology and Tribology Laboratory of Belarusian Research Institute for Trauma and Orthopedics;
  • July 2003 – October 2011, worked as a Trauma and Orthopedics Surgeon at Department of Trauma and Orthopedics No. 2 of the 6th City Clinical Hospital;
  • October 27, 2011 – till present, works as a Trauma and Orthopedics Surgeon of Department of Trauma and Orthopedics No. 2 (Chief of the Department).

Dr. Mikhalkevich is a highly-qualified specialist who applies the latest methods of diagnosis and treatment of patients with injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. He performs both non-surgical and surgical treatment.

In 2008, Dr. Mikhalkevich was awarded the higher qualification category in trauma and orthopedics.

In 2014, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus expressed gratitude to Dr. Mikhalkevich for excellent work, dedication and personal contribution to the arrangement and provision of medical care to patients.

Dr. Mikhalkevich participates in conferences and meetings of the Association of Trauma and Orthopedic Surgeons of Minsk. He is the author of 5 scientific publications. Dr. Mikhalkevich also delivered the report at the Republican meeting of trauma and orthopedic surgeons.
